How Jmaa pricing and verified savings work

Your applicable agreement determines your purchase price. Savings compare an approved previous unit price with the actual order price for confirmed received quantities.

How is the customer price determined?

Jmaa buys from the supplier and sells to the customer. The pricing workflow uses the supplier cost and a configured commercial markup. Where a verified previous price supports a savings-share calculation, that calculation is compared with the minimum markup price. The minimum markup still applies when the potential saving is too small. Rates and negotiated prices depend on the applicable agreement; no universal percentage is promised. A resulting price can exceed a previous price, so review the offer before accepting it.

What qualifies as verified savings?

The monthly report includes closed orders with confirmed receipt. A line needs an approved previous price greater than zero. The comparison is (previous unit price minus actual order unit price) multiplied by the confirmed received quantity, capped at the ordered quantity. The report uses recorded delivered quantity if a separate received quantity is absent. Values are rounded to two decimals and exclude VAT and delivery charges. An unverified baseline is not counted as verified savings. A higher purchase price produces a negative difference; it must not be relabelled as a saving.

A calculation example — not a customer result

Illustration only: an approved previous price of SAR 100 and an order price of SAR 85 produce a SAR 15 unit difference. If 10 units were ordered and 8 received, the comparison is SAR 120, excluding VAT and delivery. If the order price were SAR 104 instead, the difference would be minus SAR 32 for 8 received units. These invented inputs explain the arithmetic; they are not a quotation, testimonial or measured customer outcome.

Before you submit

  • Compare the same specification, unit and pack size
  • Keep evidence for the previous price
